What We Do

SK & C Development Group develops and delivers training programs designed to further the professional development of district, school, administrator, paraprofessional, government officials, and leaders.  The programs can include various delivery methods (i.e., e-learning and/or face to face) and can be prepared as single or multiple touch points (single certification class or span of multiple events over time).  Both technical and soft skills can be included.

School Leadership Professional Learning for Novice Administrators-

Using a blended approach to support and develop novice administrators (three  years or less) with leading the instructional program using experienced coaches and mentors that focuses on the three major standards for preparing administrators to be successful in the first three years.

Implementing CCRS for Student Success Professional Learning for Math and Reading Teachers

Using a blended approach to support teachers and administrators in the implementation of College and Career Ready Standards (CCCRS).  The professional learning will focus on providing teachers with strategies to unpack the standards and to apply the Standards of Mathematical Practices (SMPs) in both reading and math classrooms.

Integrating STEAM Innovative Practices as Part of Model Schools

Using the Engineer Design Mode; for total integration into school culture to include extensive professional learning, tools, and on-site support by NASA trained educational leaders.

District/School Efficiency Reviews

Using a proven School Efficiency Review Process, the purpose of the review was to identify savings that can be gained through best practices in non- instructional areas of organization, educational service delivery; human resources; facilities use and management; financial management; transportation; technology management; and food service.
